Even though I'm getting older I still like to think of myself as at
least a little bit cool (although I’m sure there are many people who would set me straight on
that one). As a result I was a bit dismayed this weekend to read an amusing article in
the Times that clued me in that – at least in my choice of cars – I was not as cool as I thought
I was. In fact, the Land Rover that I drive is pretty close to the "Stodgy" end of the cool meeter and in the same category as Chrysler and (gasp!) Oldsmobile. As the kids would say these days: "Not so groovy!"
Unless you're actually going off road, SUV's are never cool.

“Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we’re going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath & Beyond, I don’t know, I don’t know if we’ll have enough time.”

Dude, land rovers are cool. don't trust what NYT says. I'm pretty sure that snoop dog has one in his garage, however it sports 26" rims and you've got the stock ones on there..
If you had a mid 90s Defender, you'd be really cool.
If you had a 60s Land Rover and it ran... you'd be rad.

Once you start wondering if you are cool, you are no longer cool
Still looking to get my hands on a defender.
